Village Pub & Grill – My last meal in Vegas

After a three days of debauchery in Vegas, I was begging to come home. Before boarding the plane though, my soul was craving something unhealthy but comforting. The Village Pub & Grill was at eye-level and surely a boozer would give me the fix I was needing. I came to find out!

I went for the buffalo chicken wrap $14.49 – with grilled chicken pieces tossed in hot sauce, sliced lettuce, with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese minus the ranch dressing. They may as well of thrown it in the bin as the thing was so salty I could have used it to de-ice a snow covered road!

It came with thick cut steak fries that had enough salinity to keep the ocean going.

And I ordered beer battered onion rings $7.49 minus the ranch dressing. They looked the part, but were shamefully cold. Meh.

Iced tea $3.29 to wash down some of the salt.

The verdict:

When did I go? January 2016
The damage: Expect to pay $20-$25 with wine (£10-£15) per head
The good: Seriously?
The bad: Well I happened to be a patron the waitress had forgotten about when she was taking the orders of the group I was with, and then it took another 10 minutes to grab her attention, by that time all the food was arriving and I was left straggling! Don’t get me started on the salty food again..
Rating: 1/5
Would I go again? Nah.
